GSTR-3B Due Date for October 2024 Extended for Maharashtra and Jharkhand Taxpayers
On account of upcoming legislative assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, the government has announced an extension of due date for filing GSTR-3B for the month of October 2024.
The polling for these elections is scheduled for November 20, 2024, which is also due date for GSTR-3B filing for the month of Oct-24.
The revised due date for filing GSTR-3B for October 2024 for these taxpayers is now November 21, 2024. A formal notification regarding this extension will be issued shortly.
This extension is expected to provide relief to taxpayers in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, allowing them to prioritize their voting rights without facing any penalties or late fees for delayed GSTR-3B filings.
