Now, ESIC has introduced a simplified online process that allows users to easily search for an IP number through multiple methods. This new feature eliminates the need for physical visits and provides a seamless experience for retrieving employee insurance information.

Key Features of the New ESIC IP Search:

  1. Search ESIC IP number by IP Number: This option allows employees and employers to quickly find the insured person by entering the unique IP number assigned to them.
  2. Search ESIC IP number by Bank Account Number: Employers can easily search using their Bank account number linked with IP.
  3. Search by ESIC IP number by UAN (Universal Account Number): The integration with UAN allows you to search using the EPF UAN number. For this UAN & IP must be linked.
  4. Search by ESIC IP number by Mobile Number: Another convenient option is to search by the employee's registered mobile number, making the process quick and hassle-free.

How to Use ESIC’s New IP Search:

  1. Visit the official ESIC website.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Search IP by Account /Mobile/UAN Number’ feature.
  3. Choose your preferred search method—whether by IP number, Account number, UAN, or Mobile number.
  4. Enter the relevant details and click on ‘Search’ to retrieve the information.

This update reduces the risk of duplicate IP numbers and offers a user-friendly interface for employers and employees alike. By enabling multiple search options, ESIC has made it more efficient to track and manage employee insurance details.
